Truss Lead Gen isn’t a marketing agency that decided contractors looked like a good vertical. It came out of running a commercial trade business and needing this to exist.
My name is Thomas Pletta. I own Out West Windows, a commercial window cleaning and soft wash company in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Property managers, office buildings, recurring maintenance accounts — the same customers you’re trying to reach.
For a long time my pipeline was referrals and repeat work, and it was fine right up until it wasn’t. A couple of slow months made it obvious there was no system underneath the business. So I built one: research the buildings, find the person who actually signs, reach out, follow up, keep a list of every conversation.
It worked. And once it was running, the part that stuck with me was how badly the alternatives had served people like me. Marketing agencies quoted retainers with no idea what a maintenance contract is worth. Lead sellers took my money and sold the same names to two competitors down the road. Nobody could explain what I was actually buying.
Truss Lead Gen is that system, run for other trades. HVAC, fire and life safety, plumbing, electrical, roofing — different work, identical problem. You are excellent at the thing you do and you have no time to prospect.
You’re not going to get slide decks and marketing vocabulary from me. You’ll get an honest number of leads, a report that says what actually happened, and a month-to-month arrangement you can end whenever it stops being worth it.
We tell you 3–6 leads a month because that’s what the math actually supports. It would be easy to promise more and blame the market later. Every number on this site is one we expect to be held to.
Nothing we generate for you gets resold, repackaged, or shared. We also won’t run a directly competing contractor in your service area while we’re working together.
Month-to-month, 30 days’ notice. If the work is good you’ll stay because it’s working, not because of a signature from eleven months ago.
If your service area is too thin, or you’re not set up to handle more work yet, we’ll say so on the first call. A client who churns in sixty days is worse for us than one we never took.
A truss is the thing you don’t see. It sits above the ceiling, spans the distance nothing else can, and carries the load so the building underneath it can be open, useful space. Nobody walks in and compliments the trusses — they just notice that the roof is holding.
That’s the job. Your pipeline should hold steady without you thinking about it, so you can get on with the work you actually get paid for.
Tell us about your business and we’ll set up a 15-minute call to see if Truss Lead Gen is a fit. No pitch deck, no pressure.
